The original
Tailored by a mechanic. Inspected by no one.
Milton asked his tailor for “something with presence.” The tailor called a mechanic. Eleven weeks later Milton owned a white suit with headlights, a chrome bumper and a turn signal on each sleeve.
It could not sit down. It could not fit through most doors. He wore it to brunch.
The shirt is the sensible version: the same chrome and the same lights, printed on a white tee. You can sit down in it.
